Most. Boring. Weekend. Ever.

First off, I just want to say that I freakin' passed my 1st micro lab practical today with an 84!!! YAY ME!!

I guess my boring weekend did pay off.

Anyway... so yeah... I had the most boring weekend ever.

Andy and I had lunch when he got in to town and had a long talk (almost tearful) talk. He realized that what he did was wrong (he reads this.. I didn't know that) and yeah, I forgave him. So we're all cool and stuff now.

My cousin turned 11 and my soon-to-be-cousin-in-law turned 15 this past weekend and had a party for both... which just confused the heck out of me because we didn't even have a party for everyone who had August birthdays. It was fun... until I started losing money to the old ladies playing cards. :-( Fell asleep for a little bit before going home that night.

Played phone tag with a certain hottie the whole weekend. Gee... that got annoying!! Yeah... I totally gave up. He's leaving for San Antonio anyway; so I'm not too worried.

Anyway... I guess that's it for the news right now. Need to go to A&P lab... skin tissues and such, ya know.

Love you guys!!

"You Got Your Wish..."

So I was driving down 30, when I get a call from my friend, Andy. He said, "Well... you got your wish... I'm coming up there tonight."

Andy is from Bay City, which is just south of Houston and Houston, as you know, is gonna get hit by Hurricane Rita. The boy woke up and there were like 4 cars left at his apartment complex. Apparently, the whole town has evacuated.

Long story short, he's coming up here until things clear up. It's not directly hitting Bay City, but it'll get massive wind and rain. I'm just glad he has a place to stay since his parents are up here also.

Please pray for everyone in Houston and Galveston and the surrounding areas.

It's just really scary to think about when it's this close to home.

On a lighter note: IT'S FALL!!!

Okay... technically it's fall, but only in the other 49 states. Texas will be in summer mode until mid-October or so.

I mean, geez... it's like 100 + degrees outside. That's not exactly fall.

Anyway... just wanted to say that. I have a real test (technically a lab practical) next Tuesday and I'm far behind.

Ciao and stay fabulous.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy

What kind of person would I be if I don't update this thing every once in a while? So, while I'm waiting for my soup to be fully heated in the microwave, I give you an update.

First things, first.

Malibu and I got into a very insy-winsy fight... yet we're not on speaking terms. Not trying to point fingers, but after what I tell you, it's obvious who is at fault.

So... between school and the errands/cooking I need to do, I go see him... IN WEATHERFORD. You know me, I hate to leave the city for anything.

His dumb butt (it's to see me, but nonetheless) got in town a day early and says his mom won't let him in the house.

1. Why would a person do that to their own flesh and blood? That's just cruel in my book. Who makes a rule like that?

And 2. If you know you won't have a place to stay, make some sort of arrangement before you leave the podunk town you're in and don't bother me.

My house has messy construction all around; so my place wasn't an option and I told him that... mulitple times. He even called that night to ask me again. I had just got home (early) from a great night and in no condition to drive. Think he understood? Guess again. He yelled at me and my cell cut him off.

So yeah... I don't know what's going to happen now. It really (like this whole situation) is out of my hands. I said my piece to him and left it at that.

But you know me, I can't be without some sort of eye-candy; so there's something in the works. Details later.

Second off, what is this lady's problem?

She message attacked me on myspace... all because I said on someone's comment page "It was great talking to you."

She proceeded to tell me that I'm not this guy's type, saying I was the total opposite of "athletic and thin"... and just kept berating me for no reason at all. She also told me that they're close (he says they're not... haha bitch).

I really don't know what her problem is. I did nothing to her... except think ill of her. She really looks disgusting for a 39-year-old granny (you read right... GRANNY!!). Her booty is like... your parents having sex... you know it's there, but you don't want to see it.

I'm thinking she may be a little insecure and afraid that this guy that she's "close" to might not want to talk to her anymore because he's talking to a young twinkie like me with boobs that could kill her. He doesn't even talk to her that much.

Oh well... not my problem. I'm a cute twinkie. LOL.

And finally, my cell is in the shop. I dropped it and the speaker broke; so I don't have my cell for 2 weeks. I do have another cell phone (same number... just using another phone); so I'll be alright.

Also, I might be getting a new cell number next month. Only a privilaged few will get it (filter process... you know how it goes) because I think of it as a clean slate; so I need to get rid of the excess (you know... people who I don't call/don't call me). If you want it, tell me and when I get it, I'll tell you.

My soup is done. Ciao.

Dear Grandpa

*NOTE* This is a letter to my Grandpa who died 4 years ago today... and no, it wasn't b/c of the twin towers or the pentagon. He died of some complications in the Philippines. Please pray for the families of the victims of 9/11.

Dear Grandpa,

This letter is a little late, I know. But I just have some things to say.

I'm sorry I didn't get to know you better while you were still alive because we were 2 worlds apart. I know I could have called more often, but with the hustle and bustle that has become my life, I didn't.

I'm also sorry mom and I didn't get on a plane right away for the funeral. A second after I found out about your death, I found out about the twin towers. Grandma understood why we couldn't go, but I still felt bad.

But I am glad I did get to know you in the 3 times I've seen you in my 24 years of life. I learned a lot of things from you and even though you're in heaven right now, I still need to learn a few things from you.

You were probably the reason why I wanted to go to law school in the first place, but I decided not to for different reasons. Please don't be disappointed.

I still need to stop the little bursts of a smoking habit I have had. I know you've died from some complications from it. I should stop and I'm getting there. Mom needs to stop too.

Anyways... I guess that's it. I love you, Grandpa. Watch over us.

Myspace Addiction

Hey you guyses!! How was everyone’s Labor Day weekend? Was it fabulous? I hope it was very relaxing and you had some time to rest before getting back into the swing of things.

Now back to business.

If you know me, then you know I’m the most random person in the world… just spouting out things for no reason. Yeah… that’s me. But you have to admit, I AM the sexiest random person ever. LOL.

So yeah… I got bored last night and looked up people on myspace.com, my new addiction.

If you don’t know what myspace.com is, WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS??? Like Friendster, but better. Don’t know what Friendster is? Good Lord, have you been living under a rock?

Basically, these websites are like… meeting places on the web. You meet fabulous new people on there and whatnot. It’s pretty fun when you’re bored out of your mind.

So anyway… I went on there a looked up random people I knew in college. I went a little Tom Cruise-azy when I found out an ex-crush and an ex-fling were on there (I will use these descriptions in place of their names). I don’t know why, but I just started jumping up and down like Tom Cruise.

And… these guys looked the same when they/I left UTA. Just… weird.

I wonder if they ever saw me again, what would they think of me now?

For one thing, I still have the boobs (“How the hell do we always end up talking about your boobs?” –Gay Husband); so Ex-crush will name them like he did when we went to school together.

These guys probably remember me as a pushover (Ex-fling always borrowed my notes in political science class and never talked to me outside of class; I always caved into Ex-crush because… well… I really wanted him to like me). Yeah… that’s not happening anytime soon, you bitches.

And believe or not, I wasn’t as social back then until my senior year in college. Yeah… if you’ve ever hung out with me or seen pictures of me hanging out with my family/friends, you know I’m different person all together. Dancing on bars… kissing my “lesbian” lover… random people kissing/licking me… yeah… that’s the me of today. Maybe a little too crazy.

Anyways… I guess that’s what’s on my mind today. Micro lab got cancelled today due to Labor Day weekend. I wish Anatomy Lab would get cancelled.

As always, I love you, you guyses.

Stay fabulous.

News at 11

This is truly sad. (if you haven't figured it out yet, the bolded purple text is a link)

I ran across this while I was reading one of the blogs I read religiously. This guy and his boyfriend are from New Orleans. Truly sad.

I know you guys heard this all week, but please help the victims of Hurricane Katrina in anyway you can. Donations, volunteering... anything. Like my cousin Sarah said:

"They need more than just "oh it's so sad" and prayers and sweet thoughts..."

I would finish that quote, but you get the point. They need tangible things... like food, clothing, blood, etc.

So please help. I don't know if I could emphasize that enough.

Also, Chief Justice William Rehnquist has died this evening.

This is one truly sad week/end.

Please keep the victims and Rehnquist's family in your prayers. Even though you may not be religious, just keep them in your thoughts.

Thank you.

As always, stay fabulous.

Dear Asshole #3

Yeah... I know I said I would update on the rest of my week, but I have so much pent up anger and you know that can't be good. But we'll get back to my week in a second.

Dear Sir,

You suck. I have no time for games. I'm too old for them now. I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt and yada yada yada.

So really... I know what you're doing. I've played the excuses game and I've played well. Heck, I even invented some excuses you probably never heard of.

Next time, say what you mean instead of being a damn jackass.

Oh yeah... you can bite me too.

Love always,

As for my week, a very slow one, but weirdly... it was relaxing.

I have a quiz tomorrow that I'm not prepared for. Should be easy though since it is Wellness class. My ex took a class from him while this teacher was still working at UTA and told me he's pretty easy. So... I'm good.

My microbiology teacher sounds like Lois from Family Guy and talks to us like were a bunch of kindergarteners. Good thing is, we practically get the test before the actual test and go over the essay questions while going through the book. Easy, right?

Both my labs are going to be bitches. I never planned on having all my Micro and Anatomy lab exams on Tuesdays... even though Micro meets twice a week and could have had exams on Thursdays. Yeah... I'm screwed. Luckily, Micro lab exams are multiple choice and what not; so it shouldn't be too bad. Unfortunately, Anatomy labs are not... that's going to bite my ass.

Also went to the gym on campus and it just makes me miss UTA a lot. I went in there thinking the elliptical machines had TVs on them or something exciting. Yeah... no such luck. Spent 30 minutes listening to Jack FM. Couldn't read... was just simply bored. But hey... it's cardio.

Anyways... need to read 3 chapters.

Stay fab.
