Beauty and The Geek

Lately, I've been watching this show called Beauty and The Geek. It's a "social experiment" (as they described) by pairing 7 beautiful academically challenged women with 7 socially challenged men (their words, not mine, but I didn't want to be politically incorrect... especially about the "beauties") with a chance to win a quarter of a million dollars.

It is what it says... and it ain't all that bad.

Right now, there are two couples left: Chuck and Caitilin (not KATE-lin... it's KITE-lin) and Richard and Mindi. I'm seriously pulling for Richard... just because I like to root for the underdog. Richard is the stereotypical geek, but a little bit pyscho towards Med School Chuck. I laughed when he said, "If I ever encounter a mountain lion, I'll feed it Chuck... and then cower." Richard is too funny and I hope he wins.

Anyway... I'm happy for once.

I get a voice mail from my friend/fellow bridesmaid, Quidsia. She found a date for me... even though I have no idea on what he looks like or anything.

Here's what I know about him:

• Originally from Bulgaria and lived in South Carolina.
• Goes to UTA with April (the bride-to-be) and Quidsia.
• About 6'1"
• Brown hair and blue eyes
• Not too slim, not too bulky.
• Cute
• Nice, but can get an attitude.

I called him up. He has a nice voice. Hopefully we can do something tomorrow.

That's about it. I need to get ready to go to a visitation for one of my family's friends.
